Children's Summer Sunday School
Kids (age 5 through 5th grade) will be learning to share with others, to do for others, and about the needs of others. We meet each Sunday in Room 305.

Here’s What’s Coming Up Next:
August 5: School Kits - Judi Reece - The children will begin putting the school supplies into kits for those who need them. The supplies will be distributed by our assistance program. Excess supplies will be donated to Christian Ministries. A big THANK YOU to all who have donated school supplies!

August 12: Growing Up Green - Susan Trout - Taking care of the environment.
August 19: Drawing God’s Creation - Lucinda Rarick
August 26: High Street Food Pantry - Jennifer Hopper - Children will visit and learn about the Food Pantry. They will be involved in activities that are helpful to the Pantry such as wrapping soap, decorating bags, etc.
SUMMER OF SHARING FOR AGES 3 AND 4: Three and four-year olds will meet in Room G-2 to share Bible stories and activities this summer.

Tween Time
Is your 9-12 year old constantly complaining that there’s nothing to do? They’re too old to play with toys and too young to go out with their friends. There isn’t anything that’s just right for them!

High Street UMC is proud to present tween time, a time for your tweeners to spend time with other people their age, doing things they enjoy — and that you approve of.

Tween Time works just like Kids’ Night Out, and it’s at the same convenient time and place. The nursery staff will host your kids at the church from 6-9 p.m. But instead of spending the evening in the nursery, some of the staff will take the tweeners to the Youth Lounge in Parish Hall.

The staff will supervise the tweeners in games, fun, movies, and more—all of which are age-appropriate—which means that they won’t feel too old for what they’re doing, and you won’t feel that they’re too young!

While your little ones play at Kids’ Night Out, your slightly older children can come to tween time. The cost for tween time is the name as Kids’ Night Out: $8 for one child, $10 for two or more. If you have children going to Kids’ Night Out and tween time, the cost is still only $10.
If you are interested in participating in tween time, please contact Arline Morrow at 759-5408 or see a nursery attendant. Please feel free to allow your tweener to bring friends. We welcome anyone in the community!

Children’s Church
Held on Sunday mornings during the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services, this event provides a time for children four years old through third grade to gather in their own worship area and participate in a service designed especially for them.Nursery
Loving child care is provided by a trained nursery staff in a safe, fun, and educational setting while parents attend worship and/or Sunday school classes. A paging system is utilized to quietly and discreetly summon parents if they are needed in the nursery.

Cherub Choir
The Cherub Choir, for ages 4 through 10 will rehearse in Room 301 from 6:00 to 6:30 on Wednesdays. The children sing at the 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. worship services on Sundays approximately once a month. (Continues until summer.)

Sacred Dance
Children ages 4 through junior high rehearse each Wednesday from 6:30-7:00 p.m. in Room 303. The children will dance occasionally during the worship services.

Kids’ Clubs
This is a special Wednesday-Connect class just for kids. Children ages 3 through Kindergarten will meet in Room G-4 each week. Kids 1st through 5th grade will meet in Room 303 for fun lessons from the Bible Zone study series.

Play Day
Play Day is held each Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Children, infants through six years of age, have the opportunity to enjoy crafts, snack, games, and time with friends while parents run errands, exercise, or just enjoy some quiet time. Cost is $8 for one child or $10 per family. Reservations are required by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Call the church office, 747-8500.

Kids’ Night Out
Kids’ Night Out is a treat for kids and parents alike. Children, ages six weeks through 10 years, enjoy videos, play, and have fun with our child care providers. Kids’ Night Out is held on the first and third Friday of each month and the cost is $8 for one child, or $10 per family. Reservations are required by the Wednesday before. Call 747-8500.
