Have you been attending worship for some time and think that now is the time for your life of faith to go deeper? Are you wondering what church membership is all about? It’s time to Get Connected!!

CONNECT 4
Connect 101—Connecting with Christ
Step into this introduction to the Christian faith that is designed to answer faith questions and stimulate a deeper search for God’s love. “Who is God, how is Jesus my Savior, does the Holy Spirit influence me?”

Connect 101 is for newcomers starting a relationship with God and faith veterans who are seeking answers to important questions. Together we will move towards responding to God’s promises.

Connect 201—Connecting with the Church
Get to know High Street Church and its history, mission, organization, vision, and core values as a United Methodist congregation. Discover your identity as a member of this body of Christ.

Connect 101 and 201 is a four week orientation, and when the course is over, we will have a celebration where you have the opportunity to join High Street as a member. Connect 301 and 401 are designed to enhance your faith journey and complete the steps of effective discipleship.

Connect 301—Connecting with the Christian Walk
Learn to understand and live out the marks of a Christian life. In this three week course, you will incorporate disciplines such as reading and studying the Bible, prayer, connecting in small groups, tithing and other basic disciplines of the Christian life.

Connect 401—Connecting with a Call
Connect with God’s specific ministry dreams for your life and get plugged into a place of ministry by discovering your spiritual gifts, talents, resources, individuality, desires, and experiences. This four week opportunity will help you find your fit and discern your call.
