Need-Based Groups Bible Journey This is a study that is appropriate for adults with developmental disabilities. Led by Lana Remaly it includes Bible stories and activities for the participant. Journeying Together Too often our gay and lesbian loved ones are targets of judgment, shaming, discrimination, and public outrage. Their families and friends may benefit from a supportive Christian atmosphere in which to share their struggles with others walking the same path. This monthly support and education group for parents, friends, and families of gays and lesbians is co-sponsored by College Avenue UMC. Call the church office, 747-8500, for meeting dates. Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anons, and Al-Ateens all meet at High Street Church every week. These groups are confidential in nature. We are looking for Outdoor Enthusiasts who would like to join or lead the High Street Adult Explorer Club on some exciting adventures! If you enjoy hiking, biking, motorcycling, canoeing, bird watching, etc., then this is the group for you. This group is open to the community as well as High Street Church members and friends. We have a number of events planned for the fall with more being added each month. Singles Ministry Muncie Singles Happenings: Once a month, High Street Church joins several area churches for a Singles Event. The last Sunday of the month, unless it is a holiday, we meet at MCL Cafeteria in the Muncie Mall at 11:15 a.m. for Sunday lunch.
