Wear Your Name Tag!

Do you know everyone at our Church? Probably not. Do they know you? Probably not. Imagine what it is like being a new person who hardly knows anyone. Each week new people are coming to our church, and we have added three new staff members.

It will be a help to all of them and to us if we wear our name tags. Two of our core values are Radical Hospitality and Inclusive Fellowship. It is difficult to extend hospitality and fellowship when we do not encourage it by wearing our name tags.

Please pick up your name tag at the door you most often enter. When you leave, drop it in the basket at any door. We will put it back in the name tag rack and have it ready for you the next week. If you do not have a name tag, or if you’ve misplaced your name tag, make a request in the church office for a new one!

Let’s put on a show of hospitality and fellowship by wearing our name tags.

Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anons, and Al-Ateens all meet at High Street Church every week. These groups are confidential in nature. For more information about participating in these groups, please contact the following persons:

Adventure Club
Are you adventurous? We are looking for Outdoor Enthusiasts who would like to join or lead the High Street Adult Explorer Club on some exciting adventures! If you enjoy hiking, biking, motorcycling, canoeing, bird watching, etc., then this is the group for you. This group is open to the community as well as High Street Church members and friends. We have a number of events planned for the fall with more being added each month.
