High Street UMC Preschool is a top notch Preschool. My daughters were more than prepared academically for Kindergarten and excelled at their Kindergarten screening. Beyond the academics, however, I witnessed a dramatic change in their ability to share with others, taking turns, listening, and other important social skills. With our daughter's second school year coming to an end, we are thrilled that she will be returning to High Street UMC Preschool next year, along with her younger brother! Angels on High Preschool Staff provides a safe, loving, and educational environment for children. These are very professional, loving individuals who enjoy working with children and preparing them academically and socially for what lies ahead. ENROLLING ALL AGES FOR THE 2010-2011 YEAR
The schedule will be Monday/Wednesday/Friday for the 4-5 classes. Children must be eligible to enroll for kindergarten in 2011-2012. The 3-4-year-old classes will meet on Tuesday/Thursday; children must be eligible to enroll for kindergarten in 2012-2013. Children enrolled in these classes must be capable of independent bathroom care. Two sections of the two-year-old classes will be offered, one on Tuesday, and one on Friday. Children must be two to enroll in these classes; they do not need to be toilet trained.
Fees:
4-5 $50 registration tuition $765/year or $85/month
3-4 $40 registration tuition $585/year or $65/month
2's $30 registration tuition $315/year or $35/month
OUR PROGRAM OFFERS:
- All 3's, 4's, and 5-year olds' Lead teachers have Education degrees and teaching licenses.
- All assistant teachers have college degrees; most are licensed teachers.
- Small class size to facilitate a good teacher to child ratio.
- Hands-on learning to help children experience as they learn.
- Positive Christian social interaction to help children learn how to relate to others in meaningful, positive ways.
- Balanced learning with play to make it fun to learn and experience new things.

MISSION STATEMENT:
The High Street United Methodist Preschool, Angels On High, is an outreach of the education ministry of the church. The program provides loving learning experiences for two-, three-, four-, and five-year-old children, with teachers who are sensitive to individual needs and able to provide guidance appropriate for each stage of the child's development.
SCHOOL SCHEDULE:
With a few variations, we follow the Muncie Community School calendar and weather cancellations. If MCS calls a two-hour delay, preschool will be canceled for the day.
