30 Hour Famine
On February 12 - 13 youth from High Street, Gethsemane UMC and Corinth UMC all particpated in the 30 Hour Famine. The goal of the 30 Hour Famine is to raise awareness of starvation and help raise money to feed starving children. This year the money that High Street youth raised will be used by World Vision in their efforts to help bring relief in Haiti. Youth had people sponsor them to going 30 hours without food. Friday night youth had the chance to have fun with friends. Saturday the day was focused on service to others. In the morning youth heard stories from Haiti and were made aware of the needs in Haiti. Three groups of youth performed various service projects around Muncie. One group went to a nursing home and helped clean as well as made Valentines for the residents. the second group prepared bag lunches and delivered them to people who were waiting in waiting rooms and visiting people in the ICU at Ball Memorial. The last group helped Riverside UMC and Gethsemane prepare valentines for their congregation. Each group performed five random acts of kindness following their service projects. The youth ended the night with worship and breaking the fast by partaking of communion together.

Youth Sunday School
Every Sunday we offer Sunday school classes for youth from 6th grade - 12th grade. During Sunday school youth discuss and learn how to make their faith a part of their every day life.
Middle school youth meet in the Mezzanine at 9:45 a.m.
High school youth meet in the youth lounge at 9:45 a.m.
S.A.F.
S.A.F. stands for Seek And Find which is a community youth worship service. On the 1st Sunday of every month from September to May we meet at Riverside UMC. SAF is from 4pm - 7pm. Youth have time to play games, get a drink from the coffee bar and spend time with friends. Dinner is served and following dinner is the worship service. During the worship service youth hear a relevant message from a youth speaker or a local youth leader. Following worship youth divide into smal groups to discuss the night's message. Every S.A.F. has a specific theme.
Youth Group
On Sunday nights we meet from 6:00 - 8:00pm
IHOP for Jesus
Every 3rd Friday of the month we gather at IHOP to hang out, have fun and eat togther. We meet from 9:30 - 11pm
