Youth Ministries
A “grove” is a small wooded area that is cultivated and has no choking undergrowth. The youth group at High Street United Methodist is a grove. We spend time together cultivating our faith and our relationships so that sin has no chance of taking root in our lives. Our focus verse that completely embodies this sentiment is John 15:4, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” We want to abide in brotherly love with one another and abide in God’s love and law. The flip side of this coin is that not only are we abiding in this love, but we’re also branching out in it. We want to work for and give love to the city of Muncie and bear good fruit.
