High Street Pantry
Volunteers organize canned foods and prepare bags of groceries for the hungry in the community. Each week on Mondays and Tuesdays, a total of ten families receives a weeks worth of groceries. Those receive food must acquire a referral through Christian Ministries.

A community walk to advocate and collect funds for agencies that seek to alleviate poverty and hunger. The walk is sponsored by Church World service which provides resources locally and globally to eradicate hunger. Each September, a mission bucket offering is collected to support the cause of the Crop Walk. Many volunteers from High Street Church will participate in the walk. Delaware County is hosting a Crop Walk on Sunday September 27 @ 1:30 at Yorktown UMC.

Using a holistic approach, the Heifer Project seeks to build sustainable communities through the gift of livestock animals to developing countries. A priority of the mission is to teach the recipients how to care for their animals and use their natural resources wisely.
Summer Lunch Program
Throughout the summer volunteers provide meals to local children’s summer program’s. In the summer of 2009 five hundred meals were provided for the Madison Street Boys and Girl’s Club.
