What can I expect when I arrive?

The church has ample parking places. The church has a parking lot on the same lot as the church building. There is additional parking in the lot on the east side of the church across High Street. There is additional parking on two lots on the west side of the church across
People who park in our church lot or the west lots usually use the north entrance. Enter through the door below the canopy. People who park in the lot across High Street usually use the High Street entrance. Enter through one of the three sets of double doors.
Every person has the freedom to dress in an appropriate style that is comfortable with them. Some women wear slacks and tops and men wear slacks and sport shirts. Some women and men wear jeans and an appropriate top. Some people dress more formally with women wearing dresses and men wearing suits.
What can I expect when I arrive?
You will be warmly greeted at the door by one of our hosts/hostesses. They are willing to direct you to the nursery, the sanctuary, a Sunday School classroom, or even a restroom. Feedback from first-time visitors informs us that first-time visitors can expect a friendly atmosphere before and after the worship service.
Is there a place to get a cup of coffee?
We have a coffee bar that includes flavored coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice and water. There is also a table of light snacks. The Coffee Bar is open from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and is located at the end of the 1st floor hallway.
Do you have a nursery for my young children?
Our well-equipped nursery is located on the ground floor and is staffed by trained nursery workers. Most of the staff are students at
Do you have a Children’s Church for my older children?
During the 8:30 and the 11:00 worship services we offer Children’s Church for children ages 4 through 3rd grade. The children leave the worship service just before the message and are picked up by the parents following the worship service. One of the pastors will help with Children’s Church. During the 9:45 service, children and youth of all ages can attend an age-level Sunday School class.
Is there an active youth group for my youth?
Our youth ministry is one of our strongest ministries. The youth have an opportunity to fellowship with other youth, grow in their faith, and learn to serve others through a variety of mission projects. Because of the variety of activities, please check the church calendar for a listing of youth events.
Are there Sunday School classes for all ages?
Our Sunday School for children and youth is grouped by age/grade levels. There are five adult classes that use a variety of curriculum materials from Bible studies to contemporary issues.
Is the church handicapped accessible?
Handicapped accessibility begins when you park at one of the numerous handicapped places in our parking lot. The church building is handicapped accessible through the north door adjacent to the parking lot of the church. There is an elevator inside that door that provides access to all floors of the church.
Will I be singled out or pressured?
You will not be asked to publicly introduce yourself during the worship service or any other time. We will not introduce you as a guest during the worship service. You will not be pressured to do anything. We just want you to come and experience the love and joy that is here as we worship together.
You are not expected to give money during our offering time. You are our guest. During the time of the offering, just relax and enjoy the music.
